Gliding course program

7 Gg. of theoretical and practical course, from Saturday to Friday or week-end.

The first part of the course provides for the installation of hang gliding, placement relative to the wind, racing on the Plains to understand the handling of ’ ala.

Then the officers for the first little flights in gentle slope.

L ’ the last phase will be devoted to straight flights, slight tacking and positioning the rider semi recumbent.

Paragliding course program

2 Gg. of theoretical and practical course, on Saturday and Sunday or date to be agreed. You quickly retrace the steps of the basic course with gliding so-called intermediate.

Then the officers for more precise turns flights, the position of the pilot will be correctly expanse.

At the end of the course you will be flying high with a simplified flight plan prior to landing in ’”Piano Grande” Castelluccio di Norcia.

Technical Progression:

• Same programme for basic course with intermediate delta
• Takeoffs in light winds or null
• Take-offs with cross wind
• Knowledge of its use and emergency parachute d ’

• Turns to 90 and 180 degrees

Honors program hang gliding

From 5 in 8 Gg. of theoretical and practical course, Monday to Sunday or week-end.

Should be carried out exclusively high flights according to a program that provides: turn of 360°, exploration of maximum speed, minimal and stall. It will exploit the conditions of modest ancestry for the prolongation of the flights, will be the precision landing, and you will run of top-landing (landing at the point of takeoff).

L ’ course registration includes: accident insurance coverage, theoretical-practical lessons.

Documentation and requirements for participation

1. And’ need Italian citizenship or be nationals of a State where there is reciprocal treatment, provided that foreigners residing in Italy and in good standing for the purpose of stay
2. Having accomplished 18 years of age, or 16 with the ’ consent of those who exercise the parental authority
3. N° 1 passport photos
4. Send the registration form (download it here)
5. Duty stamped clearance from € 16 issued by the Questura of residence (fill out this form and submit it to the police headquarters of belonging). The authorization may also be required during the basic course, but always before the examination certificate ’.

The minimum requirements for the issue of the certificate of eligibility referred to in ’ art 14, are as follows:

Clothing

Exams for Ulm certificate-gliding
VDS certificate exams for free flight-gliding have mainly a biannual.

Take place in Italy and flying sites of the Centre are supervised by two examiners of the Aero Club of Italy, one for takeoff, the other landing.
During the flight, considered practical test, I asked some simple maneuvers to which students have been extensively trained.

After passing the practical test you make the theoretical form of quiz containing 30 multiple choice questions covering the main topics on the fly.
The overcoming of examination papers will be made a payment of 180 euros to Aero Club Italy to the date of issue of the certificate.

Gliding courses list

BASIC COURSE: 640€
The course consists of seven daily lessons theoretical and practical with a progression that will lead up to the performance of flights with student l ’ 20 – 30 vertical metres. Are included: school equipment, textbook, accident insurance, registration at ’ Ass. Sportiva.

POSTGRADUATE COURSE: 280€
Two days of theoretical-practical lessons for making the move from hang-gliding school to ' intermediate ' type staff. With this you will come to the top flight that concludes the course.

ADVANCED COURSE: 260€
Five to eight days of theoretical-practical lessons for making 20 fly high with use of ’ personal equipment.

EXAMINATION OF CERTIFICATE: 180€
Includes a day dedicated to the theoretical and practical examination ’, deposits all ’ Aero Club q ’ Italy, transcript of ’ enabling flying booklet.

SHUTTLE SERVICE
